We realize that in the blogging world we're late on this as the episode aired two nights ago... But we wanted to take a moment to support our friend Laurie who is currently on the series "The Fashionista Diaries" on the Soap Network. If you live here in the city youve seen the red posters with black writing everywhere. I started watching this reality show before Laurie (who we went to HS with) entered the picture. I missed a few episodes and all of the sudden Shannon is tell me that Laurie is the latest cast member. Laurie has been very good to Dakota Martin - no matter how little we see her she has sweet and encouraging things to say about our line. On top of that, she gave us our first real piece of press. While interning at Main Line Today Mag she suggested us for local "Women to Watch," interviewed us herself, and gave us a whole page write up and picture. All on her own accord. Hence, you see the Laurie Dress and Laurie Tunic in this fall's line. Laurie is the namesake!
Needless to say we hated how she was treated last week by her boss and a magazine editor. Both, deplorable. Shannon and I thought this blog was hysterical illustrating how unwarranted and udderly ridiculous this treatment was.
